OFFICEforce is currently seeking an experienced Recruiter for our southern York County client. This is a 3 - 6 month temporary position, but has the potential to go longer. Ideally, this is a 40 hour/week position, but there is flexibility for reduced hours if the employee prefers.


Achieves staffing objectives by sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating job candidates for internal manufacturing positions.


  • Maintains recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and sourcing resumes form various sources.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing other related duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ideal applicant will be a highly organized and results driven professional with at least 6 – 12 months of previous recruiting experience.
  • Current knowledge of employment law (federal, state, and local).
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • A "people person" with good communication (phone & email) and interviewing skills.
