We are currently recruiting for an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity. A global leader in their product line, our Lancaster area client is looking to add a Specialist for Commercial Marketing to their team. The Specialist for Commercial Marketing is responsible for managing brand/product marketing content ­­­and coordinating its distribution to internal and external customers, including sales managers, retailers, syndication services, and design resources. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, this person will effectively interface with marketing and sales colleagues to develop the required product, customer, and technology expertise to maintain content for use in digital channels, including their website, retailer sites, social media, product brochures, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a process to manage, store, and communicate product content, including copy, images, video, and usage/specification details
  • Provide product information to sales account managers, retailers, and/or syndication services as new products and fashions are launched across all product categories
  • Manage the entry and updating of content into back-end systems such as DemandWare CMS, syndication service platforms, and retailer set-up systems
  • Collaborate with team members to refine, customize, update and/or generate product content

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an associated field (Creative Writing, Literature, English, Communications, etc)
  • 1+ years of experience in a collaborative office environment (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly dependable with an excellent sense of independent judgement
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively identify and communicate key points
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks without sacrificing accuracy or execution
  • Strong sense of urgency in completing tasks promptly
  • Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration skills
  • Experience with data entry/management and basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
